Dassault Falcon 7X Review: The Quickest Jet In The Market

Every man has a dream, and one of most people have is having an airplane. Dassault Falcon 7X is not an exception when it comes to that dream of private aircraft. In this article, I have written a complete Dassault Falcon 7X review which I have conducted from many resources.

Dassault Falcon 7X was first made in 2005 and still in production now, which proves itself as a reliable aircraft. Falcon 7X, included a long range business jet, has a price of US$ 52.3 Millions. It is the first fly-by-wire airplane in the world. It means that the aircrafts before Falcon 7X have manual interface, and after this amazing aircraft had been released, it became a new standard of electronic interface, or fly-by-wire system.

Dassault Falcon 7X Specification

Falcon 7X has a capacity of maximum 3 crew and up to 19 passengers. With a length of 23.19 metres, height of 7.86 metres, and wingspan of 26.21 metres, it can fly at a maximum speed of 515 knots (953 km/h) and fly range of 5,950 nautical miles (equals to 11,000 km).

Falcon 7X has a unique look with its three clusters and three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A turbofans engines, each produces 28.46 kN power. It needs a maximum weight of 31,750 kg to takeoff.

Dassault has made it resembles to a military fighting jet in its steady and stable pose. As we all know, we need a stable and steady position to aim a target, both in the air and on the ground. As a manufacturer of fighting jets, Dassault implements their experience into Falcon 7X.

Falcon 7X EASy And EASy 2

Dassault Falcon 7X’s cabin is armed with a new avionic system called EASy. This system allows the pilots to concentrate on where they want to fly the plane, rather than on how to fly this airplane in the old system. Pilots choose the destination, Falcon 7X will count the path, and pilots pick one path. The airplane will stay in its route. What a great system, especially when we remember that this plane was first built in 2005, not 2015.

Conclusion

Falcon 7X is a great aircraft, in 2005 and in 2015, believe me. As a new pilot, you can learn flying this thing safely with its EASy and EASy 2 avionic system. Many countries have been using the 7X in their military and civil airlines. This is an undeniable proof of Falcon 7X’s greatness.
